The soft breezes of rhythm are orchestrating along with the tree’s silent song, while other plants are waving their branches like arms up and down, cheering like a concert happening only for their ears.

The tree sings,

“Look at this blunder,

Is still a wonder.

A bouquet of flowers in his hands,

Is a confession he makes holding her hands.

The flowers are giggling while he is trembling,

He looks like a blunder, but his heart is in wonder.

The wind causes blunders, still it is a wonder,

What blunder that we cause is a wonder.

Our root like legs are a mess of blunder,

Still, it makes us wander.

We all are blunders,

Still, we create wonders.

Look at this blunder,

Is still a wonder.

Blunder and Wonder, Wonder and Blunder,

Blunder and Wonder, Wonder and Blunder,

That’s why we are a wondrous blunder.”

The tree bends its branches and sheds pink flowers upon the unaware humans, expressing its gratitude to his tree fans.

The tree whispers through its roots to every tree surrounding him, “Thank you for listening to my song and for your enthusiastic cheers. I appreciate it a lot. My tree fans are happy, that is itself the most soothing experience.”

A Tulip plant, just a few meters behind, questions him, “Mr Manmohak Rosewood, you have been singing for a long period still how is it that these tall strange beings are unaffected by your melodious voice?

Are they deaf?”

Mr. Manmohak replies in a calm tone,“ Aadya Tulip, it’s only been 10 years that you have been witnessing these various kinds of beings wandering around us. You still have a long period to live, grow and understand these tall strange beings named Human.”

Aadya innocently asks, “Manmohak uncle, I want to know a little bit about them. Can you share the view of what you are seeing right now?

I mean, I just want to grasp a glimpse of your perception. Please !”

Manmohak laughs while slightly shaking his hairy leaves, “Aadya, you are a curious tree.”  The small bushes around her feet echo, “We are also curious, uncle. Show us. Show us.”

Aadya also joins them, “Yes, Show us the view, show us.”

Manmohak agrees, “If you are stubborn enough to learn about the humans. Let me give you a glimpse. Now, close your eyes and concentrate on your roots. Keep doing it until you can connect with soil in depth to connect with the roots of these earthly beings.”

Aadya and the small bushes nod excitedly, “WE WILL.”

Aadya and the small bushes concentrate on their roots, but they can’t connect, and an hour has already passed. Aadya remains resilient, but the bushes felt tired waiting for something to happen. They all keep trying, but eventually, the evening sky sets, making the trees fall asleep.

Still, Aadya and Manmohak are awake. Manmohak is smiling at her perseverance, meanwhile Aadya feels her branches begging her to relax and let sleep come to her. Aadya hums randomly to keep her awake and her patience pays off when she can hear human voices, insects chirping and disturbing noises through her roots.

Aadya exclaims, “I am connected. I can hear them, feel them, and can understand their language.”

Manmohak cross-examines her with a knowing wrinkle smile, his leaves slowly swaying with the flow of cool breeze, the crickets whistling calming his whole posture,” Aadya, how are you so sure about it?

Can you describe it in more detail, my sweet child? I am curious, how did you do it?”

Aadya giggles, her beautiful flower head dancing to and fro as she feels a rush of wind ruffling her leaves, tickling her stems. She voices her accomplishment with a surprised tone, “ Manmohak uncle, I-I… I don’t know …but it happened somehow.

I could hear the muffled sounds of humans’ conversations within nearby areas, the strange noises from colorful transport trunks running on their metallic root rings, the banter of birds over the Banyan tree located ……if calculated….It is approximately 7 trees away from us.

Those few seconds made me feel something, Mr. Rosewood. Those human voices were something, some were hoarse, some sweet, some felt crunchy, and I could hear their whole being pulsing silently within them.

It felt like as if I was listening to hand drums, played by fingers and palms of harmonized hands, essence of our Indian culture expressed in various tones and rhythms, which breathes into our soul and pulses through our energy, similarly, those fleshy beings’ core being the hand drums, the air being the musician makes their whole body pulse in diverse tones, rhythm and tunes, and, we dendrites, too, have the same pulse in our roots.

If I say in simple words, putting my feelings into a more understandable statement, it just felt like breathing and vibrating silently under this dark shade of night tree, vast and endless,  even the enchantress; the moon blesses us with its beauty only when the night tree blooms, sheltering us all beings under one.

And we beings, fleshy or sturdy or tender, all kinds of beings on this earth are absolutely mesmerized how the night tree draws us all in its melody, soothing beauty and its charming silvery dazzling dots even makes the enchantress sigh dreamily, floating close to the tree.

And, the night tree with magnetic sea-blue shaded leaves and prettiest glittery dot-shaped fruits, blooms only at nighttime, is a work of miracles, a soothing melody vibrating in the atmosphere, putting the night sky, and all beings under a sleep, calm and relaxed.”

A sudden rhythmic gasps reach Aadya Tulip’s sharp leaves, immediately captures the low-toned, sweet tiny choir, sounds like rain droplets falling, a whiff of musky scent fills in the air, she could feel in her leaves.

Enjoying the curious stares fixated on her, cute round faces admiring her, their yellowish orange hue complexion brightens up, she bursts into giggle, her leaves flapping as if bouncing in joy, feeling encouraged to speak, her body swaying slightly with feathery breezes.

She directs the question to him, her bud facing Manmohak Ji, sweet citrus-like essence sprinkles in the air as she bobs her bud, and even others get influenced by her contagious sweet smell, waving their branches eagerly, “Human’s communication style is a bit different from us.

Manomohak Ji (Ji refers to Mr./Ms/Mrs, a way of showing respect to someone), Why don’t they talk with their feet like we do?

Even those flying beings chirp and sing with their strong beaks; Airy Fur balls and  the mainland Hairy beings talk through the wide pits located on their faces, walking on their four set of hairy legs, small berries-eyes, however, these fleshy beings despite having soft petal like buds, opens and close whenever they communicate, is somehow completely different from these mainland and airy beings, their words, letters, and accent fascinates me.

My roots have always felt a tingle whenever I see their soft petal like buds communicate in fascinating language, I feel my leaves inclined, leaning to grasp a note of their voice, even a word I could decode is what I used to wish.

I don’t know why, but I want to connect with their hearts and…….get familiar with their core……maybe even share a  bond with one of them someday….I wish.

Maybe someday…..coming back to the topic, what type of tree they are, Manmohak uncle? Are they shape-shifter fleshy advanced trees, who change form into different celestial creatures?

What are they exactly and how did we meet and agree to live together…. And why can they move so frequently and have no restrictions unlike us…and-”

Mr Manmohak Rosewood’s trunk flutters sprightly, pulchrous [ rare beauty] white and pink flowers decorating his head sprinkles upon the ground, shutting Aadya Tulip’s mouth in awe, and his throaty laughter wakes everyone up.

Suddenly, the park is buzzing with windy noises; the roots underneath the soil are actively communicating with each other. The adult trees and plants in the park are trying to analyze Mr. Rosewood’s sudden laughter, meanwhile Aadya simply waits for him to finish his laughter, and she doesn’t mind his laughter, his jolly deep laughter fills her body with joy and peace, even rest of the Dendrians could feel it even though they don’t recognize it.

Suddenly, Out of nowhere, the odorless atmosphere brews with sweet-n-punchy aroma, grabbing everyone’s attention except for Mr. Rosewood, who is still engrossed in laughing his flowers out, scattered on silky grass like soft and beautiful carpet.

Nonetheless, the soft woody and sweet essence subdued by a familiar scent, a strong one, punchy, minty and a hint of sweetness lingers in the air nearby. And, everyone hushed in silence, bowing their crowns, towards the ground while their stem bodies faced in Mr. Rosewood’s direction, stood  an elegant plant with beautiful slender stems, pinnated leaves, shining in her beautiful royal purplish complexion, graceful like a goddess with ancient ancestral lineage, worshiped by humans since ancient times, providing truth, purity and holy vibrations every day for earth and its beings, even the Dendrians respect her as divine being, a guardian sent by universe.

One of the Dendrites, eager to understand the matter, Manjeev Neem flapping his lanky branches, the aroma of bitter-sweetness diffuses in the air, reaching their leaves, “Mrs. Tulsi, your heritage has been under close relation with these humans for generations, so, has Mr. Rosewood had finally been affected by those humans unpredictable behaviorism?

Is he alright??  For some reason, he doesn’t seem alright… is it that spirit thing humans were discussing last night? Are those rumors, true ? “

Mrs. Tulsi voices out the truth with calming gentle buzz, “Manjeev, one question at a time, okay. Calm your roots, I would answer your questions, but first, let’s bring our dear old Mr. Rosewood back to talking.

And for that, we need a gigantic laugh to pause Mr. Rosewood’s never-ending laughter.

So, I suggest Ashwarth Banyan to shake his hairy bangs touching almost the ground, just like those humans who rotate and shake their body creating rhythmic pattern called……….hishhh…what…those … humans….call it…Yesss..I remember now, it is called DANCE.

Ashwarth! Dance right now. It’s a humble –unavoidable order. Begin !”

Ashwarth Banyan like every other Dendrian(here Dendrian refers whole tree and plant community ) doesn’t dare to go against the wind, so he tries to shake his branches a bit first, but he is unable to do so since wind isn’t in his favor, or it might be the case that wind is having a breathful laugh tickling other’s leaves except for his, testing his patience under Mrs. Tulsi’s demanding yet urgent signals that he received.

Ashwarth forcefully shakes his hairy bangs, inducing an amplified wind-breaking sound, birds resting in their straw houses lost a few feathers and other few flapped their wings vanishing into a small dot.

Aadya Tulip requests Ashwarth uncle with emphasis on every word while being polite and respectful,      “Ashwarth Uncle, I think it would be enough.

Except for Manmohak uncle, every Dendrian has wokennnnn up…by your terrifying-Oh seeds (Refers to an expression if done )…..I mean your terrifyingly beautiful voice* making her petal expand a little bit forcefully to give a Bloom (It refers to smile in the language of Trees)*.”

Another signal joins between the conversations, giving flair to its shaggy hairy twigs facing soil, a tall tree, whose dark brown branches almost appears as black strong branches spread wide like how classical dancers pose their fingers with elegant air.

Bitter as neem, possessing pain-relieving qualities, basically one of the healer trees, highly expressive, his long hairy twigs reaching almost ground, looks like a beautiful mess, loves whenever wind plays with its hair, knotting into long braids and now his essence, crispy and sour alone can help Mr. Manmohak Rosewood.

He gathers an ounce of his energy, sends a mix of blurry mesh of messages, directed at Mr. Manmohak Rosewood but accidentally, it reaches at every root, a harmonious ‘Oh seeds’ is expressed by the Dendrians.

The taste of bitterness transports from roots to every inch of their stem, making their leaves curl tight for an Exchange (Refers to the Respiration done by gaseous exchange of carbon dioxide in and oxygen out through stomata; the small breathing micropores, so, basically, per gaseous exchange of carbon dioxide in and oxygen out, is counted as a second in human language ).

Mr. Manmohak stops laughing, and his woody posture becomes stiff, falling into sneezes, his decorative beads of white and pink flowers scatters everywhere, flowers toppling over their woody bodies.

Suddenly the stiffness vanishes as soon as sweet robust scent mingles in the air soothing the bitter taste in their vein tubes. Mr. Manmohak recognizes the familiar fragrance and the creases on his trunk curves imitating a fatherly smile, “Sweet Kasvi from Turmeric family is here to balance out the bitterness.

Your oblong shaped leaves look healthy, looks like it’s your germination period. Hope we will soon see your chubby, cute pods.

Okay, then let’s revert to the matter. Son Anay from Black Willow family, what happens that you had to be  extremely bitter suddenly now. I admit, I was a bit uncontrollable there, still you didn’t have to do this, I was about to put a stop to my laughter.

Although it is a bit hard to adjust to your bitter energy signals, however, I feel my roots being relieved and strengthened and for that I express my gratitude on behalf of Dendrian as a whole.

Nonetheless, your branches are all in place ? Do your trunk feels fine?”

Ashwarth answers instead of Anay, his twigs were getting twisted to communicate the thing that happened just now, “Manmohak Ji, Anay’s bitterness was caused due to me. You see…..* A distinct strong scent from Mrs Tulsi makes his branches gravitate closer to the ground* Ohhhhh seeds….Actually the matter is…

*inhales a deep breath *

sinceyouwerecontinuouslylaughinganddidn’ttakeabreathofairtopausesoallwerealittleconcernedforyou, then Mrs Tulsi ordered me … to … make you laughter stop…which is why he tried to laugh louder than you but … *swishing his twigs dramatically* instead all got scared and annoyed and … in….order….to….stop…….me … Anay…had to curl his way…and he did it with one single bark. That’s it.”

Anay chuckles, a chirpy windy breeze caresses everyone’s ears, spreading laughter seeds from Aadya to Mrs Tulsi to Dendrians further meters away and surprisingly his bitterness left a taste of hidden sweetness underneath.

While the Dendrians are busy in laughing off their stems, a particular tall tree, his sharp leaves caught noises of windows being closed, his dark-gray bark could almost hear the utmost silence weaving lullaby, unravels tangled stressed threads into stress-free, relaxed threads, harmonizing hearts in peace.

The relaxed atmosphere blending in the atmosphere is the cue for sun to move to rise on other side of the earth, opening the night curtains and blooming into fiery flower in the sky, burning bright, glowing in its glory, invoking hope and new beginnings for the earthly beings every day.

The night sky has already begun his show, stars blinking rapidly at them, bouncing sparkles, twinkling dreamy invisible stardusts mingles with atmosphere, making them sigh, while the enchantress moon and little glowing dots staring at the tall tree, stood next to a pond, his strong bark and dainty petite flowers in tubular shape, somehow didn’t release its fragrance like every  night, and this doesn’t go unnoticed by the night sky and its beings, inquisitively wondering what could be the matter, that stole the fragrance of his flowers.

The anticipated gazes fixed on him, even the night sky is waiting for his show, but the gloomy shadows, hiding in the darkness, hovers over his canopy, almost unnoticeable to everyone except for the night sky and a close friend of him, who can see him even if covered in shadows.

His magnificent crown doesn’t bloom, which gets noticed by its admirer aka his neighbor residing close to his trunk, her woody sticky stems ringed around him, clinging close to him, accompanying him since long years. She notices his gloomy dull shade on his leaves and his unbloomed night flowers making her flowers wither.

Not only her but each Dendrite waits for Cork’s night show; featuring magic show time of night flowers that falls like stars at daylight and grows in the silent whispering nighttime.

The essence of flower magic is its fragrance, the scent that put all Dendrites to sleep. But today, the Famous, Beloved ‘MAGICIAN’ of Dendrites is unable to do his magic flower show due to unknown reason, concerned energies reach him, asking about his well-being, but he couldn’t find the energy to respond, piques height of concern, especially the one living close to him, her branches are a bit stiff.

The whole garden is knotted with wispy gentle strings, politely requesting them to let him slide for one night, and his lowered stance seemed as if apologizing for ruining the night atmosphere for them.

However, none of them waved even a single branch, rather the Dendrians with help of their wind friend, did something, working  as one team, dedicated to him, their magician.

A magnetic voice, honey-like voice rushes in their roots, flowers bloom, leaves suddenly became enthusiastic, and the Dendrians aren’t surprised, rather patiently gawking at the plant under the canopy of  the Cork Tree.

The Cork tree’s shadows faded, escaping into the dark holes, and the synchronized notes coming from her stem, orchestrating different melodies in harmonic pattern, making every dendrite forget all that happened in the past minutes or so.

Aadya Tulip’s sharp leaves, could feel  some strange warm hidden tones in her song as if doing an indirect confession, a specific message sent only for the Dendrian whom it is intended for. Before she expresses her curiosity, strange words seeped in her roots, reaching her shoot, captivated by the strange vibrational patterns, she didn’t pay attention to the song.

An alarming pull she feels in her roots, the underground soil particles clinging close to her roots, transferred mysterious elements and surprisingly, her roots absorbed the elements as if assured of its origin or source of these unknown messages and in addition, her bud accidentally catches  a whiff of unfamiliar yet familiar energy, locating the energy, distant from her but feels near to her soul.

Her peaceful mind is expectedly brimming in excitement, her long slender leaves flapping like birds ready to fly  and  the two authoritative figures could read her roots, and the elegant graceful plant appears a bit rigid, her scent getting stronger, whereas the calm old tree, shaking his branches off, his strong bark pulsing in mischief, a mischievous grin, tweaking the elegant purplish plant’s shoots, causing frown lines appear on her beautiful leaves.

Nevertheless, they both calm their shoots and patiently wait until the singer itself finishes her song.

As soon as the singer finishes her song, the night flowers suddenly bloom diverting their attention to Mr. Cork, and even the singer itself, his neighbor, being moon over his true essence, earning relaxed sighs. The fragrance of those beautiful moon-like flowers dissolved the chaos and returned them to a peaceful state.

Mr. Cork’s leaves  land at the sweet feminine friend, always by his side, touched by her affection, he compliments his neighbor friend in jolly energy, loud and clear to all Dendrians, “Ms Sangini Ivy, your voice is sweeter than nectar and has the power to burst the negative energy bubbles sticking to our souls.

I am sure, today onwards, everyone is interested to listen to your voice every night, lulling them into soothing sleep, even hopeful dreams, pretty dreams are attracted to you, brewing the right atmosphere to sleep.

Thank you, Ms. Sangini, you are truly a gem, and you deserve to share your rhythmic voice, sweet songs to our beloved Dendrians, every night, like I got the honor to do.

Manmohak Ji, she deserves to be appreciated for making us feel livelier. I personally request you to let me be her magician partner, and perform as magician duo for our daily night show.”

Hearing his statement, Sangini curls her leaves inward, flowers blooming fully on her nodes, which doesn’t go unnoticed by Mr. Rosewood and Mrs Tulsi, their leaves blooming brighter at this scene.

Aadya Tulip is baffled by his bold confession, admiring his confession, dismisses the strange calling for now, engrossed in gushing over their bond. Mr. Cork and Ms. Sangini, feels like a match made in soil, every Dendrian felt the same in their roots.

Aadya wanting to praise Sangini Didi (Didi refers to Elder sister/Elder female) for her singing, but whenever she wants to send lots of heartwarming energy signal to her, someone at exact same time interrupts her message pathway, still, keeps her patience intact, consistently sends her message signals until it reaches her.

Thankfully, after a few Exchanges (Here, Exchange refers to second in human language)  her message signal finally moves forward, almost reached Ms. Sangini’s root, however gets interrupted once again and not just by one message signal, rather with many Dendrites sending message signals, all at once, clogging the communication system and the whole chaotic system halts with furious dancing leaves of Ms. Tulsi, clearing out the chaos, all alone, Aadya  almost felt guilty for being part of this chaos.

Being tired of this, and willing to fix her mistake and help Ms. Tulsi, a mother-like figure to her, Aadya sends a longer message signal,  clearing out all other message signals, removing the blockage.

Aadya’s clear message sent to all Dendrites surrounding nearby, carries  a polite request, to pay heed to Ms. Tulsi, clearing out our mess and ending it with alert message, on behalf of Ms. Tulsi, and if the Dendrians repeated the same mistake, then be prepared to receive scoldings from Sangini Didi for clogging her communicating roots, as Sangini Didi can’t tolerate crowded noises, having a bit of short temper.

Ms. Sangini ivy shook her leaves, agreeing with Aadya, however, Mr. Cork’s night flowers blooming turn into amused glint over its petals, which doesn’t go unnoticed by Ms. Sangini, her flowers shy away from his bewitched smile and teasing gaze, his handsome foliage leaned slightly closer to her crown, whereas Ms. Sangini looks away from him, staring at her roots, flimsy underneath soil, sensing his message signals rushing in her roots.

Meanwhile, the Dendrians are enjoying the atmosphere and the magician duo’s chemistry, here, Aadya Tulip experiences a jolt out of nowhere, her whole shoot is in jitters, her leaves’ hearing ability heightens, even sharper than usual sharpness, again strange words, mysterious message signal overtook her shoots.

Her bud shaped head swaying aimlessly, her leaves curls and unfolds repeatedly, and her strange behavior might have been overlooked or shadowed under the dark night sky but not form the experienced leaves, old as time, one sigh in disbelief and other’s twigs fills in with intrigue interest towards weird, unexpected cases.
